Whether section 8 companies covered under audit limit of 20 companies audit u/s 141?

Thanks!! Could you please share the reference as referring to Sec. 141 there are OPC, Dormant, Small Co. and Pvt Co. with PC less than 100 cr is covered and nothing mentioned abt sec. 8 co.?

Section 141 does not specifically mentions Section 8 company.
But since Section 8 company is private company if the PUC is 100 crore or more then it is included in 20 co's.

Thanks Rakesh. But in that case whether Sec. 8 will be considered as Pvt. co. bcs referring sec. 8 it is prohibited for Sec. 8 Co. to mention either Limited or Pvt. Limited so how will decide whether Sec. 8 will be covered under Pvt or Limited Co.
