Section 220(1)(a)(i) -- pl a/c of a pvt company

Friends

As per section 220(1)(a)(i), a non member cannot inspect and obtain copies of  PL account of a an independent private company.

But is this followed in practice ? I mean I , a non member, cannot do this for a pvt company in MCA website ?

Can you share your experiences please.
