In case of Sec 112A STT has to pay on date of acquisition and date of transfer for both
In case of equity &
In case of EOU(MF)
Or for equity only date of acquisition is sufficient

Both dates are required
In case of equity shares, STT to be paid on purchase as well as sale whereas w.r.t. equity-oriented fund, only on sale.
