Pls solve my query..............

My client has sold his residential HP which was in his name( ie owner of the flat). And then purchased another residential HP. But this new HP is in the name of his Son & my client's name stands as 2nd holder.

Will my client be entitle to get exemption u/s 54????

ya. the client will be eligible for exemption.....................but I think upto the share of the client only.
