I am a partner in partnership firm .when i filed my itr 3 today its showing late fine of rs 1000 payable..why is it so when my partnership firm is subject to tax audit and due date is extended to 31st october?

For working partner I think last date is 31st Oct
But for other partners the extended due date was 31st August only.
