One of my clients is a 100% EOU Unit approved by Cochin Special Economic Zone Authority. They are the manufacturers & Exporters of Gold and Semi precious stones. My query is with the relevant Sec applicable for claiming exemption i.e. 10AA or 10B?
I would also like to know whether there is any MAT exemption for the Company.
the deduction for profits exempted u/s 10A or 10B has been withdrawn from FA 2007 wef 1/4/2008 however proffits exempted u/s 10 except for 10(38) are still exempted
