Same GST NO for other Lines of business
I am a proprietor of two businesses, wherein the trade name of the two business are different. Can I have the same GST no for the two business, although the legal name(proprietor) is the same but the trade names are different?

Yes, with same GST number you can do the business, because GST number is based on PAN number.

you have to have 2 different registration
your GSTIN number check digit will change
example for your 1st business state code followed by PAN followed by 1
FOR the second business it will become state code followed by PAN and then 2
