i want to become STP (from mumbai - maharashtra ) can any one tell me what is the procedures to apply for the STP Certificate, What Quailfication is Required, And documents required while appling.
I am a bcom Graduate will it be suffucent to apply for STP Certificate.
If you are permitted to practice under IT Act the same rule will apply with respect to qualifications.Some examinations recognised by Central Board of Revenue are accepted for this purpose also. Otherwise a graduate of any university with a post gradute diploma in taxation is the required qualification.Form 706 is to be applied with a fees of Rs200/- to the office of Commissioner of Commercial taxes. Certificates related your identity,qualification, age adress etc to be attached........mjk
