If the Capital Base in Electricity Accounts is Wrong but by just one wrong posting, do we get any Marks for steps.

4 months : (2months*1)+(6months * 5/3)

=4 : 2+10

=4:12

=1:3

Guys is Deffered Tax covered in our ssyllabus?

nope it aint.. ! :) should get full for attempting i guess .. anyways i think i got it right..lol

@ vishal.. ya obv u ll get mark.. even i made a silly error in computation in Reasonable return.i hope not more than 6 marks will be cut if  v  have written all steps

and i made a silly error by wording it as DTA instead of DTL... otherwise the answer is fine

And guys for arriving at clear profits u ve Reduce a contingency reserve of 0.25% of OC of FA from the given profits right ?

General Reserve was not required since its already in excess of 8% of OC of FA

480000:1440000 = 1 :3
