my friend has 10 months in 1 company and 2 months in another company.
my doubt was standard deduction is rs.40000 is claim for both company or claim 1 company, because tax liability will raise,

Overall standard deduction of Rs 40,000 is allowed
Only 40000/- Allowed as standard deduction from the total amount of salary you received from both employers.
