Quick Summary
The Sabka Vishwas Scheme, introduced in 2019, aimed to resolve disputes related to older indirect tax laws like Service Tax and Central Excise, which have since been subsumed by GST. This discussion clarifies that the scheme does not cover unpaid GST. It explains the procedure for voluntary disclosure of unpaid GST for FY 2018-19 or 2019-20, including paying tax and interest, and amending GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
1. Show the correct turnover in table 4 of GSTR-9 2. Pay the Tax along with interest 3. Do change accordingly in T 9 of GSTR 9 4. Make the comments as well in 9C
The Sabka Vishwas Scheme, 2019 is a scheme proposed in the Union Budget, 2019, and introduced to resolve all disputes relating to the erstwhile Service Tax and Central Excise Acts, which are now subsumed under GST, as well as 26 other Indirect Tax enactments (as listed below).
