I am really confused with the dates asked in ROC Returns. Can anyone please help me in knowing the dates and the criteria if the Auditor's Report Date is 27.09.2008:
1.Balance Sheet Date.
2.Date of Board of directors' meeting in which balance sheet was approved.
3.Date of Board of directors' meeting in which Board's report referred to under section 217 was approved.
4.Date of Signing of Board’s Report.
5.Date of signing of reports on the Balance Sheet by the Auditors.
6.Date of AGM.
7.Due Date of AGM.

kindly clarify me about the minimum days for helding AGM from the date of balancesheet? ( Balancesheet date is 20.sep.08.)

1. 31-03-08
2, 3, 4 & 5 - 27.09.2008
6. date when agm is held
7. 30-09-2008, if financial yr. ends on 31-03-08
the above answer is on assumption. if u can give more details os a copy of ur annual report il can be more specific n accurate.
If it is first AGM due date may not be 30.09.2008...It may be 31.12.2008 or some other date..18 months frm the date of incorporation or 9 months frm the close of acconts whichever is earlier..
My company is changing its financial year earlier its financial year was from 1st April to 31st March and the annual filing for that period is also done.
Now the company wants to change its financial year to 1st Jan to 31st December. what will be the procudure ?
