My company filed income tax return of AY 2017-18 on due date under 139(1) and so is eligilbe to file revised return u/s 139(5).
Some one told me that revised return of 2017-18 can be filed up to 31.03.2018 only and not after this date.
Is this correct or i can file revised return up to 31.03.2019 as usual u/s 139(5). Has section 139(5) been amended w.r.t. last date of filling revised return?

Only if you find any omission or any wrong statement therein .You can furnish revised retrun for assessment year 17-18(F.Y 16-17)as per section 139 sub section -5 of the income tax act 1962.
