Revised return filed without verifying original

Quick Summary
If you've filed a revised Income Tax Return (ITR) without verifying the original, you might receive a notice for a late fee. The key is that an unverified return is considered not filed. However, if you verify the original return within 120 days of e-filing, it can be considered valid. You may need to file a rectification request to have the tax department reprocess your case correctly and resolve any incorrect demands or late fees.

Yes wait for some time
Hello... my rectified request is processed with original refund of 1580.. but before that I had paid late fee of 3430.. looks like I shouldn't have paid it... should I revise my return so that I get back my late fee paid
Is the credit for late fee not availed?
1580 is the excess tds which was refundable
If you feel something wrong from dept then you can go for revised return after considering all tds, SAT, and other payments as per 26AS
