You can revise returns online only if you have filed the original returns online and have the 15-digit acknowledgement number. You cannot, otherwise, file returns online. The IT department searches for the original details once the returns are revised. On not finding the original return, an error is shown. Therefore, it may be wise to revise in physical form.

u can do so only if u have filed the original return in time. if u have not filed original return in time then u will not be elegible to file the revised return...
u can not revised ur reutrn online !! u have to revise it mannually !!

you cannot file revised return online if you have filed the return manually .........
Dear vishal
You can not e file the revised return if the original retun was filed in manual form. Since while preparing the revised return through online its mandatory to provide 15 degit original ack no. But u wont have this. Hence only option is file the revised return in paper format
