Revalidation of ca final registration????

The revalidation under the existing scheme can be done even after 1st July 2017 till the available attempts of Examinations of that level under the existing scheme

You have to revalidate at the earliest before the filing of exam form. As the time of filing of exam form, ICAI will ask you for Date of Revalidation.

You have to revalidate before the filing of exam form. As your registration will remain due on the date of your exam attempt.

you can fill the exam form without revalidation but you have to revalidate later on. Fill exam form as without revalidation only,as you need to submeet date of final registration at the time of filling exam form & when you send revalidation form to regional center they reply you within 10-15 days thus better first fill the form & den revalidate it.... Revalidation is compulsory as if not valid it would be required at the time of asking membership from ICAI.

The new FAQ related doc provided by icai does not specify anything related to revalidation under the existing scheme on or after 01.07.2017 for CA Final students and therefore we will have to wait for a clarification regarding the same (for reference you can refer FAQ no 34)

In my view you should fill exam form without revalidation as many details are automatically captured by icai database at the time of filing exam form...first do it den send revalidation dd to regional center after filling exam form it will be more hassle free at the time of filing exam form. If you donot receive reply letter from icai between that period of filing exam form it may create problem...why to go in hassle...go with normal process ...since at the time of filling form your registration is valid first fill it den go for revalidation.

But one can also revalidate after filling the examination form, there is no issue in that also. even if the registration expires after  filling the form and before exams are due.
