yes of course its different first you are making payment of your tax liability and than you are telling to government that how much you earned by way of filing ITR…

Yes payment and filing of ITR is different from service tax too,… you have to deposit self assessment tax till 31st july .. and due date of filing ITR is also 31st july.. for individuals..
its not 30th september ?
30th September is for company for filing ITR….
