Most of the times we have read that " The Books of Accounts can be audited by a Chartered Accountant in practice & by a Restricted State Auditor".... I donot know if these exams are still conducted... If any one is aware of the same, please do inform me... I would like to know if these exams are conducted in the state of Maharashtra.... It's syllabus, manner of registration etc. The web has no information about the same...

hai! there arent any more restricted state auditors now.u can become only a certified chartered accountant.u can contact the ICAI about the CA course or visit the ICAI website "www.icai.org"
