Quick Summary
A Pvt Ltd manufacturing company has taken a commercial loan to purchase property, which is then rented out to a partnership firm. The query is whether the interest portion of the loan can be claimed as a business expense. The advice suggests two options: claiming interest as a business expenditure or treating rental income under 'House Property' and deducting the interest. The latter is recommended as renting isn't the company's core business, and it allows for a standard 30% deduction from rental income.

You have 2 Option
1. You Can Claim the interest as Business Expenditure in the Books Of Account.
2. You can Show the rental Income under the head of  Hosue Property and Claim the Interest as a deduction

As per my View
You can Show the rental Income under the head of Hosue Property and Claim the Interest as a deduction under Section 24 as renting is not your business. This is also better for you as you also get standard 30% Deduction from your rent income.
