Rent receipt on months with different names

Hello All,

My rental agreement has both me and wifes name. Can we do hra claim as follows  in the current financial year ? 

1. I will show 9 months rent from april to December 2018 to my employer, i have 9 months rent receipt with me.

2. My wife will show next 3 months rent from jan to march 2019. I will ask my owner to give rent receipt on my wifes name for the next 3 months. 

Is it possible to claim HRA like this way i mentioned above?
