Rent

My rented place is to go for redevelopment but the rent reciept is in my fathers name who expired in 1990 can it be automatically transferred in my mothers name and my name. the builder is not giving it in any other name even after requesting. accepting the reciept in my father name is void right. pls guide what is the procedure
