Removal of ISCA !!

GUYS ISCA IS ONE OF THE EASIEST PAPER IN CA FINAL....  I WONDER WAT MAKES U SO HAPPY ABT ITS REMOVAL

Please confirm, the ISCA removed or to be removed, it is effective from which examination

ISCA is not yet removed, dont rely on this information unless ICAI declared it officially.........

I think ICAI has no intention to remove ISCA, because we must be aware of IS which is  very useful..

its a very old news yar...i am listening the same thing from Vijay Kapoor Sir in each and every seminar, conference or convention that i have attended...

Removing ISCA from Group II is not a bad idea........... but as part of our profession we should have atleast knowledge of IT usage in Accounting & allied areas. Even if ISCA is removed ICAI has to replace any other subject which is equavalent to ISCA & related to our profession....................

1. Let us not speculate till such thing is confirmed officially by the Institute. I have not heard about this anywhere else except at this particular thread.

2. Technology is spreading its existence in every possible facet of business and it will continue to grow its presence. Knowledge of technology, its working, the laws related to it are a must for an auditor. Unless one understands a system, how could one audit it?

3. The risk of Information Technology and its effect in business/industry/data security etc is to be understood. 

Is any notification came about removal isca from ca syallbus??? and my ca final attemt is nov. 2016. so please provide information about that.
