We are a manufacturing company. Our employees carry goods to customer place to give demo & bring it back. Sometimes, its left with the customer for few days & returned by customer.
In this scenario is Excise duty payable at the time of removal of goods. Kindly guide. It would be nice of u if any reference to substantiate is given.
Excise duty is payable on samples/demo even if they are not sold.
