How to open demat account and what r its charges/fees; et al, etcetra.!?

Demat a/c. can be opened with a DP viz. HDFC Bank, etc. and charges r not much but nominal & easily affordable ... .!?

i just didnt understand one thing i.e difference in the nominal value of the shares for the public and the promoter

Any news on the record date of Bonus ?

Sell R.Power and buy NTPC or Power grid - u will get better return in one years time.

This is bring to your kind notice that i had applied for 225 shares of RELIANCE POWER LTD. on 18.1.2008 along with ChequeNo. 027727 dated 17.1.2008 for Rs. 25875/-drawn on State Bank of Travancore-S/BACCOUNT No. 57018157417. But i have not been allotted any share so far i have also not received the amount back.
