Quick Summary
If your Form 112 has been rejected by the ICAI for a missing signature, the portal likely requires supporting evidence to validate the form's details. The primary goal is to demonstrate that your college or course timings do not conflict with your articleship hours. You should upload a newly signed Form 112, proof of college admission, a college timing certificate or NOC, and a brief covering letter explaining the oversight.

  • Don't Ignore It: As noted in ICAI announcements, failing to seek permission or providing false information can lead to significant delays or denial of your membership later on.

  • Consistency: Ensure the "Date of Joining" the course in your form matches the date on your enrollment letter.

  • Non-Clash Rule: The core objective of Form 112 is to prove that your college/course timings do not overlap with your 35-hour-per-week articleship requirement. Any evidence that supports this "no-clash" claim is prioritized.

Since the rejection was solely due to the form not being signed, ICAI is most likely requesting supporting documents to validate the details provided in Form 112. You may upload:

  •  Duly signed Form 112 (newly signed by all the parties)
  •  Proof of a college application or admission letter/mail receipt
  •  Class timing certificate/NOC from the college (if applicable)
  • A covering letter that briefly states that this was an error and that the signature was not included.

> The key point is to show that there were no conflicts with articleship working hours. If none of the above is incorrect, we typically address the problem after you submit the required documents.
