A person doing business in Proprietorship....
what he is doing is.... he buyes goods like artificial jwellery, bangels interstate...and suppying to small retail customer in fairs in multiple cities inter state. turnover is just rs 4 lac. whether he need to get registered under gst. if yes, whether compostion scheme is better for him.....also whether he will cover under casual taxable person....


plsss help in priority...its urgent...

Yes it is mandatory to get registered since he involves in inter state supply .....Also the composition scheme is available for him......

he can not go for composition as he is supplying interstate. there is a restriction. read section 10 with rules
If he made Even a rupee on interstate sale he must registered and not eligible to opt composition scheme,.
then he is not required to registered under Casual taxable person,.
Though your turnover just 4 lakh but you are inter state you will have to take registration comp

compulsorily. You can not opt for composition scheme as you are selling inter state. As it is your regular business there is no point in casual dealer.

dear all, request your view on as client is saying that he will sell for the next 5 month in UP fairs only..then after feb he will sell in Uttara khand.. whether this will

be right decision to registered him under composition scheme as of now and then

after 4 month i will opt for him out from the compostion... when he will go for sale in UK. I am also getting some info from different source as in the nxt meeting of Gst Council, govt is considering to put them ( small seller supplying interstate) out of the gst...is this info is correct......

whether i can deregister client after that decision of council or not...

request your help....its urgent

the last date for opt composition scheme is 30/09/17 if u opt this scheme
you can convert as a regular dealer after 1 year from such date when you opt for such scheme

hence if you opt such scheme u can't issu tax invoice until u convert
