Registration for different businesses of assessee

>>> Query : whether assessee has to register individually for different businesses in GST in same state.please resolve my doubt.

1. Mr. Piyush : if your two business are of same nature of goods... then no need for separate registration. otherwise separate registration required - (He not said it's Mandatory)

2. Mr. Raja P M : Yes... He* can as "Vertical Business".  (He not said it's Mandatory)

How is start the query and first two replies says only the option... It's not says mandatory...

BNNXX1234D Its my PAN & I have one GSTIN as the Trade Name is "P M RAJA AND CO".. I will start a new business with my PAN. I will choose the Trade name as " AMMAN TRADING AND SERVICES"...

How to deal this matter under GST...?
