How to show SGB interest in iTR

I have a SB interest of Rs.30000/- for the previous year . i found the statement that includes the SGB interest of Rs.5000/- which i received. I need to know, when I declare in the ITR1

What should i put for Savings Bank Account Interest? (25000 or 30000)

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to declare Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) interest when filing your Income Tax Return (ITR1). It addresses the confusion around reporting Savings Bank (SB) interest, specifically whether to include the SGB interest amount within the SB interest figure or declare it separately. The consensus is that if SGB interest can be declared independently, then the SB interest figure should be reduced accordingly.

If you can add one more raw it would be advisable, otherwise add it to sav bank interest.

Thank you , does it mean if i add 1 more row for SGB and show it as Rs.5000/- then the SB interest should be changed to 25000/- ( as i need to deduct the SGB interest from it)?

Yes, SB interest would be separate in case SGB interest can be declared independently.
