If you are a freelancer/private/independent accountant what are the documentation that can prove you are working as an accountant as in India we don't have any law governing accountants except the CA's or CMA's. Its a BIG question about how to prove your authentication. Valuable suggestions awaited.

i am in 11 i want to apply for cpt whats the right time to register for it .....becoz the portion is changing from june 2017

Dear Chandan,
Your degree like Bcom, might help u little as there is no other law I guess, or something like certificate from tally course, these things can help u.

Thats what the concern is if you are just an accountant you just have a mere existence as there should be some certifications and licensing atleast to carry on the business. I have rasied this question as if someone wants to migrate to a foreign country just your qualifications of Bcom/Mcom won't suffice but your work should be supported by some legal background.
