i have a frnd who is trading with the name of abc PVT. LTD.
although he has not registered yet
he is doing this since dec2010
what r the remedies available ??
r there any fines or penalties for this?

hi good question.
If the said private company (assuming non banking co.) has less than 20 members than its ok there is no need to be register as company, but if any dispute arise.your friend could not get remidy frm the co. act but from other applicabe mecantile law, as should read section 11 of companies act for better clearity.
