Query- if IFSC code of bank is not available or the assessee does not have bank account then what to fill in IFSC code in online ITR because without filling the IFSC code the return could not be processed futher.

HI..

If the return is not having any refund due then the IFSC code is not compulsory.

As far as validation of the return is concerned then put the code of any bank.

 

 

In the return, you might have opted for "refund by direct deposit into your bank account". That's why the system was not validating the return. 

If there is no refund claim then account is not mandatory

You may put "0s" in IFSC code place

and in account number Row you may put  99.....(15 time or 14 time as the case may be)
