Dear sir
with respectfully I beg to say that cgst and sgst of one state i
s set-off itc on cgst or sgst of another state in case of renting of immovable property

Input tax credit of one state cannot utilised for payment of liability of other state. There is no restriction for CGST.

It will be like reducing the revenue for the other state where you will utilise the credit.

And technically also not possible I guess. Suppose:-

U r in WB and purcasing goods availing SGST-ITC and CGST-ITC, selling goods in WB and paying SGST-liabilty and CGST-liability. How can you avail SGST-ITC of another state?
