Please clarify whether for import purchases who will raise eway bill ? whether eway bill required or not for import purchases ?

Regarding e way bill related to import purchases

the same is required and the consignee is the one who will file it. if the distance from port to the factory is 50 kms or more and the value of goods is 50k or more
you have to issue the e way bill
