Dear friends and Experts,

I wish to appear for the December 2014 CS Executive Exam. I am confused as to how I should prepare for the COMPANY LAW PAPER. Due to the latest amendment resulting from the applicability of the Companies Act 2014 I am unable to understand what is the exact coverage of the syllabus , where do I get a complete a book for the comapny law paper so that I could accordingly prepare. THE MATERIALS PROVIDED IN THE ICSI WEBSITE IS VERY HAPHAZARD AND NOT CONCISE AT ALL. Also I dont have the latest material applicable for this term.

My humbe query to the experts that they provide me a guidance as to what book I should follow for the COMPANY LAW PAPER FOR CS EXECUTIVE 2014 DECEMEBER and how I should tackle the latest amendments.

Since the new companies act is at its nascent stage, it would be better for you to go thru the Institutes module once, rather than calling it to be haphazard. Your understanding might enrich if you were to read the bare act in its entirety so as to gain substantial hold on the subject.
