Regarding articles completion and forms to be submitted

hello friends, please help me regarding articleship completion formalities.

I will complete my articleship in march and roughly i will have an extension of 3-4 months which i wish to complete under the same principal after my ca final exam which is in may11... so will i have to submit forms102&103 again as there is a gap in completion of articleship or should i just  submit form 107..

Also, after completion of my extension will i have to submit form108 again..???

Delayed submission of Form No. 103

In case Form No.103 is not submitted to the Institute’s Office within 30 days from the date of commencement of training, the procedure laid down by the Council for condonation of delay in submission of forms will apply. Delay fees to be paid 30 days beyond specified period Rs. 100.

31–180 days beyond specified period Rs. 300

Beyond 181 days Rs. 1000

Either of the following records may also be sent (if the delay is more than 181 days):

a.    Attendance record of the Articled Assistant.

b.    Original deed of Articles in Form 102, executed on non-judicial stamp paper.

c.    Certified copy of the work diary of the articled assistant.

d.    Stipend details with evidence in the form of Bank Pass Book/Statement.

 

Excess leave

 

An articled assistant who has already completed three years/three & half years of articled service and has taken leave in excess of the period allowed under Regulation 59 is required to serve for a period equivalent to the excess leave taken in order that his training may be completed. For this purpose, a supplementary deed of articles in Form No. 107 should be executed in triplicate with the same employer in continuation of the previous training on a non-judicial stamp paper or special adhesive stamp of the requisite value should be affixed on the form. The supplementary deed in duplicate along with Form 108 for the period already served should be sent so as to reach the office of the Institute within 60 days of the expiry of the normal term of articles.

In case there is a break in the continuity of training and/or there is a change in the employer and/or there is a delay in submission of the papers beyond 60 days, as referred to in the previous paragraph, an agreement in Form No.107 would not be valid. In such a case, a fresh agreement in Form 102 should be entered into and the particulars in Form 103 along with Form No.108 for the period already served, should be sent to the office of the Institute for registration within 30 days of the commencement of training.

A member may be granted an additional vacancy to engage an articled assistant whose normal term of training is over and he (the articled assistant) is found to have taken excess leave which is to be made up by an additional period of articles. It is the duty of the employer in such a case to ensure that the articled assistant completes the period of training under him including the period of excess leave. The benefit of an additional vacancy in such case is given only where it could not have been reasonably anticipated that the articled assistant would have to serve an extra period on account of the excess leave taken. Such additional vacancy may be given to the previous employer or to any other chartered accountant entitled to train articled assistant(s).

if there is gap submit 102/103 

thanks for replying guys...but what if i file my form 107 for completing my articleship from march only, while im still on leave??? n serve d extension after my exams.!! what form do i require to file after completion of extension and when after completion of extension on paper or actual completion of articleship??

Hi Friends.

I have completed my Excess LEave on 20.01.2011 after submitting Form 107.

I want to know, what docs do I need to submit now as I have completed my A'ship totally?

OR else I do not need to send anything?

Also, I had submitted my Form 107 along with Form 108 in the month of November. Till now I haven't received any correspondance from ICAI. My Principal received the corr., the copy of which I was supposed to receive.

SO, I haven't received completion certificate also.

Please help me out.

i had completed my artichship as on 8-1-2011 with leave of 20 days which i m serving under the same principal eventually i will complete my artichship as on 28-1-2011 is i need to submit form no 107  and if so when i will and when i m suppose to submit form no 108

Hi Friends,

One of my friend completed Articleship Training Just 1 month ago and submitted Form No. 108 to the icai thereafter.

My Question is does my friend has to get any other woking certificate from the Employer and submit it to the ICAI or he will get certificate from ICAI only.

I am a November 2011 passout student and i got registered to a firm in the month of March 2012. Now i need to change my principal. Is their an option of change for the present principle to the other principle ..... If so please kindly state the procedure to change as their is a problem in working .

Helo friend......please tell me , I have subbimited form no. 103 in the institute , my articleship contiunuesly on ward . I have completed almost 2 years but I have not fillup form no. 102 (agreement deed) .  any  types of problem will be arises by  instutite regarding this matter after completing articleship...............please suggested me what shall I do..................

I have completed my articleship on 18/02/2014, but during first year of articleship i have taken transfer and now I am feeling form 108 for completion of service and I need your help that which period I have to write in form. Is it balance period of articleship which i served under new principal or the total period of training viz. 3 years. please reply soon.

i have submitted form 108 to icai, now if there is circumstances of filling form 102 & 103 after completion of 3 year articleship.then what should be the date of completion of articleship in that form
