you have to make a written application for the same. Please see that you have paid Professional Tax also because they will give refund den only.

If paid please attach all the documents xerox copy of Initial deposit paid and PT paid with your application

So u mean make a written application to the STO who issued the Vat registration. Also, why do they insist on profession tax when the voluntary deposit is related to vat & they are duty bound to refund it to us? Have you made a written application and done it yourself?..thanks for the reply..will do the same
