My wife had filed income tax return in 2010 for assessemnt year 2010-11. She had to get refund of 2253 as per the return file. But so far she had not got the refund amount ...What to do

Hi Sachin,
U have to submit the application in I.T. office
Write an application to the Income tax authority where you filed Tax return of Refund giving details - date of filed return, Ward or jurisdiction in which return was filed and enclose copy of return filed.
You can see online status of income tax refund for the same AY.
Else you have to file a letter to IT Deptt.
