Rectification Return u?s 143(1)

We have received intimation under 143(1) for A.Y 2018-19, where credit for TDS is not given by department

However when rectification Return is filed error message" Return filing Section Return filed in response to Notice

u/s should be the same as of the return for order Intimation is passed and rectification is sought" and

the Rectified XML file is rejected.

Please help

For such intimation where no TDS credit is given for AY 2018-2019....

Pl cross check what TDS amount is in ITR and what is it in 26AS.

if it's ok then file online rectification application under 154.

you can file rectification of  tax credit miss matched.

you can enter tds details and rectification complete.

Online rectification request must be put up stating tax credit mis match but please note that the tds appearing in 26AS will only be given credit for.

rectification request is only applicable when there is a n overstatement of income and understatement of expense.
