Rectification of ITR-1 for FY 2015-16,AY 2016-17

Due to my dept calculation mistake, my income for FY 2015-16, now it seems that my income differences (now less due to recalculation).is it possible to go for rectification of my ITR-1 now on online in IT site by uploading the revised ITR-1. X M L file ?

Due date has been lapsed for filing revised returns for FY 15-16.
You cannot file ITR-1 now online and revise the returns.

is it possible to file off line to IT AO for the revised ITR-1 for FY 2015-16 with support docs and reasons?
