i may have wrongly shown more income and paid more tax...my itr has been processed too with no refunds...can i still file recitification request for it and claim refund now? will there be any charges or penanlty if i do so

return cannot be revised after completion of assessment or completion of relavant assessment year. In my opinion I think you should communicate with the concerned assessing officer so that he can rectify the order he passed

in this case she has recd only intimation u/s 143(1). no any asst is completed u/s 143(3) or 144. so she may file revised return before 31st march

@ Gauthami.,

As per Your reply the relevant assessment year not completed for the AY 2017-18. It's final date 31st March 2019...

Fir AY 2017-18 ITRs can be revised upto 31st March 2019 even the ITR filed after due date.
