I am a CA articleship student and facing an issue with Form 108 approval. Sharing the complete details below, requesting guidance from anyone who has faced a similar situation.

Background:

During my articleship, I was simultaneously pursuing two courses — B.Com and CFA. I filed Form 112 for both courses on the SSP portal as I was not aware about overlap criteria. A few months back I received an escalation mail from ICAI regarding the overlap of these two courses. I responded to the escalation mail but could not revoke the CFA Form 112 as CFA is still ongoing.

Current Problem:

I have completed my articleship and filed Form 108 for completion. However, the RO has not approved Form 108 citing the reason that two Form 112 are simultaneously active and one needs to be revoked before Form 108 can be approved.

My Situation:

✅ B.Com is now fully completed

🔄 CFA is still ongoing

❌ Cannot revoke CFA Form 112 as it is active

✅ B.Com Form 112 can be revoked with completion certificate

My Question:

If I revoke B.Com Form 112 with my completion certificate, will RO approve Form 108?

Has anyone faced a similar situation of two course overlap and Form 108 rejection?
