Girish Ahuja is d nbest book 4 CA Final..... All The Best .... Regards:- Sachin
Dear Students, Singhania book contains relatively more number of problems compared to other books involving various situations. However, throughout the book everything is given in smaller sized fonts. That is the only problem for readers. All the best!!
hi frnd, For pe2 T.N.Manoharan sir book is the best for both theory and practice,..
All said and done Shashikant do not forget the Bare Acts, try to analyse the bare provisions of the Act on your own Singhania,Manoharan are the best crutches available but try to walk on your own without these crutches. You will feel free and you can run even faster without these crutches. But do not throw them unless you are able to stand alone.I have shared my views. After all it is you who has to decide.
Singhania is all India recommended not only for students but also for the Income Tax Professionals as well as ITO, CIT level. But, for Income Tax Exam of CA Final, Manoharan is followed by many students
MK Gupta for PE 2
Vinod k singania is best for learning. after reading for rivision go through g sekars book.
divide theory from griish ahuja and practicals from both singhaniya and grish ahuja
This is a never ending debate among CA students- which book for taxation. Singhania or Manoharan. I have seen north based students being die hard fans of Singhania and south students of Manoharan. A few who don't belong to these groups go for other books such as MK Gupta, Ahuja etc. Looking at the replies given above,I feel Shashikanth has needlessly created a debate. I am sure Shashi you are even more confused now after reading the replies here. The best thing to do is to read few chapters/topics of VK and Manoharan and try to figure out which book is 'interesting' and 'understandable'. Based on your knowledge appetite, your standard of english etc, you will narrow down to either of the books. Go to the institute library and spend a few hours for that. You obviously don't have to spend on those two books. Its not 'which' book you read for exam, it 'how well' you are familiar with the book. There are no easy statistics showing the success rate for these two authors. Remember, its how well you know the book. So decide soon and have a happy learning time.
I want to know the best & lucid author for Excise & Custom duty
