Can existing auditors be appointed for the next financial year in General Meeting even though balance sheet for the previous year is still not complete??

Auditors hold the appointment from the conclusion of AGM in which he is appointed till conclusion of next AGM.The office of the Auditor is a continuing one provided resolution to this effect is passed and approved at the meeting of shareholders and Certificate U/s 224(1b) with respect to audit ceiling from auditors is obtained that appointment made will be within the audit ceiling limits
Appointment/reappointment of auditors take place in AGM. You can appoint auditors even if the B/sheet is pending for the pervious year.
