Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies who is responsible for paying Goods and Services Tax (GST) under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) when a private limited transport company (GTA) provides services to a Partnership or LLP. The consensus is that the recipient of the service (the Partnership/LLP) must pay the GST on an RCM basis if they are registered under GST. They can then claim this paid GST as Input Tax Credit (ITC) in the same or the following month.

RCM to be paid and claimed by the receipient
Rcm payable by recipent of service, so u case firm will pay 5 percent gst and also take itc on next month
ITC can be claimed in the same month itself @ srikumar
If both are registered in GST then recipient have to pay and claim input tax (if tax rate 18%).
Sowjanya sir, ITC can be claim same month or next month, but itc will be available
@ srikumar
we have the option to claim same month y to wait for one month
