ITR not processed for the FY 2024-25

In general. any variation from AIS data, high refund amount, or any suspecious exemption/deduction claim.

• Self - ITR3 - filed 19 July - no refund claimed - processing still pending
• Brother - ITR3 - filed 19 July - Rs 3.5 lakh refund claimed - processed and refund received 4 October
• Sister in Law -ITR3 - filed 19 July - no refund claimed - processing still pending
• Mother - ITR3 - filed 26 September - no refund claimed - processed 29 September
• Father - ITR3 - filed 26 September - no refund claimed - processeed 27 September

There is no speciifc rules like to be processed datewise or so. If generally depends upon AIS data and the deduction claims. Even after it may take longer time on various parameter set in the CPC setup.

• Filing in July 2025 and not seeing processing yet is not unusual.

• Delay usually due to verification pending, mismatch in TDS, refund checks, or manual review.

• Immediate step: Confirm ITR is verified. If verified, monitor the portal or contact ITD if delay continues beyond 6–8 months.

Pending issues are immediately absorbed.
