I had taken service of unregistered transporter , so do I need to pay gst on rcm basis??

Transport of goods by road [ other than GTA ] is not under reverse charges
Further , transport service other than GTA is exempt from tax therefore it will not taxed under reverse charge as well.

You can account it under expense head as Transport Charges or Freight Charges...

But GTA as per Notification 5/2017 CT IS not liable take Registration , so if Transporter is not registered but issue you a bilty then covers under GTA services & RCM compulsory in this case
