Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that there are currently no monetary thresholds or exemptions for Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) under GST. Previous exemptions, such as the Rs 750/1500 limit for transportation and the Rs 5000 per day limit for unregistered suppliers, have been removed. RCM is now generally applicable without such limits, except for specific cases like real estate transactions.

There is no such limit in GST.

Rcm is applicable only for the transactions above 5000 , pls anyone clarify on this

RCM exemption of RS 750 and 1500 on transportation has been done away with. Now there is no such exemption

@ Sanat Harwadekar

RCM exemption of Rs 5000 per day was on purchase of any goods or service from unregistered person. It was only effective till 14th October 2017. Now there is no such limit. And RCM on purchase from unregistered person is also not applicable except in real estate business.

No such monetary threshold as on date
