HELLO FRIENDS, PLS. TELL ME WHAT IS THE RATE OF DEP AS PER INCOME TAX ACT-1961
1. AIR CONDITIONER
2. MOBILE
3. T.V
4. REFRIGERATOR
I THINK IT IS 15 % BECAUSE THESE ALL ARE MACHINES BUT SOME TAKE IT 10%.

Rate of depreciation

- Furniture and fixature will be depreciated at 10% (air condition and refrigrator)
- plant and machianary and electrical fittings it is 15% (mobile and tv can be taken as PM)
and also as per section 32 if the value of the asset is below or equal 5000 rs then we can cliam 100% depreciation . . and also if the company feels any asset having the negligible value then it can claim 100% depreciation
