Can we change the designation of a Whole time director to Executive director , he is drwaing the salary rs. 1 lakh in hte company.

Yes, file Form 32 for the change in designation from whole time director to director.
Yes, you can change the designation by passing suitable resolutions. However, Form 32 need not be filed for change in designation from WTD to ED.

Form 32 is required for change in designation. The Director is appointed as Whole time Director. The Company is re - designating the said WTD to normal ED. Without Form 32 this change wont get reflected in signatory details.
