A dealer whose turnover is above rs 5 crore is required to quote 4 digits of the hsn code of the goods supplied.
My question is whether one has to qoute the 1st four digits or the last 4 digits of the said code?

It will be first four digits HS code 010111 meant for PUREBRED BREEDING under heading 0101 ( HORSES,ASSES,MULES AND HINNIES, LIVE) under the chapter 01 (LIVE ANIMALS) . So HS code chapter 01 meant for LIVE ANIMALS, HS code chapter heading 0101 meant for HORSES,ASSES,MULES AND HINNIES, LIVE and HS code 010111 meant for PUREBRED BREEDING.
